Just In: Tinubu sends names of three ambassador nominees to senate for confirmation

Nigerian President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday, written to the senate, seeking appointment confirmation of the appointment of three non-career ambassadors.

Tinubu made the request in a letter addressed to the senate and read on Wednesday by Godswill Akpabio, the senate president, saying the nominations were made in accordance with section 171 (1), (2)(c) and (4) of the 1999 constitution (as amended).
