Just in: Nigerian reggae superstar, Majek Fashek passes away

The Informant247 gathered that the popular reggae music celebrity on Monday, 1st June passed away as a result of complicated health crises where he was receiving treatment in the United States of America.

The demise of the Edo-born talented musical legend whose real name is, Majekodunmi Fasheke was yesterday, announced by his manager, Uzo Omenka.

The statement read: “Today been having pressure calls, well it is true that the African No 1 Legendary ICON has gone to be with the LORD his Maker, Day said.

“Let celebrate him, his achievements, and his family, whatever decisions made by his immediate family will be notified.”

Majek Fashek, as he was popularly called by his admirers, was a successful Nigerian reggae icon who had enjoyed vast career breakthrough winning several local and international accolades.

Some of his hit songs are: “Send down the rain”, “Little patience”, “Holy Spirit” and many more .
