Jaji, ex-NAKSS leaders meet, commend gov AbdulRazaq

The President of National Association of Kwara State Students on Sunday met with past leaders of the association.

The president, together with his executives, said the meeting was organized at the instance of the present leadership to promote unity and harmonize strength for the development of student communities and the state at large.

According to a statement, made available to THE INFORMANT247, jointly signed by the president, Adisa-Jaji Azeez and director of media, Abdulmumeen Abubakar, the meeting lasted for about 4 hours have in attendance distinguished personality that have piloted the affairs of the association as far back as 1991.

The statement read, “While addressing the gathering, the National President Adisa-jaji Azeez analysed the reasons why it’s very important to come together in harmony to support initiatives which will see to the development of students and help the state grow simultaneously.

“Furthermore, he briefly reported the activities of the association since his emergence as the President.

“Reacting to the president’s remark, the past leaders of the association appreciates the maiden edition of NAKSS ORATORY CONTEST organized by the present administration, commended the State Government on the newly introduced electronics process of bursary disbursement and also beseeched the government to continue to do more in term of scholarship and other developmental initiatives to underprop the students.”

The past leaders were however said to have promised to support the association being the constituency that made them, and also support all activities that are for the students and state progress at large.
