Karim Benzema has joined the long list of footballers who have lent their voices to the ongoing Isreal-Palestine war
The French striker in a statement via his official profile on the social network X expressed his support for the residents of the Gaza Strip.
Benzema, who was keen about the war restated his commitment to the Palestinian cause in the face of the Israeli attacks.
“All our prayers are with the residents of Gaza who once again are victims of these unjust bombings that spare neither women nor children,” wrote the Al-Ittihad player.
Other players who have shown support for Palestine are Valencia defender Mouctar Diakhaby, Galatasaray winger Hakim Ziyech, Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny, Al Ahly star Ahmed Abdel Kader, Montpellier forward Musa Al-Taamari, Toulouse forward Zakaria Aboukhlal, Al Ahly midfielder Aliou Dieng and Bayern Munich full-back Nassir Mazraoui.
The perennial war between Israel and Palestine started few weeks ago. Millions of lives have been lost both sides combined since the war broke out recently.
