Inflation: Kwara Gov AbdulRazaq subsidies 50kg rice for civil servants

As part of the effort to ease the impact of food inflation, the Kwara state governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has approved the sale of subsidized 50kg bags of rice to civil servants in the state.

In a document seen by The Informant247, which was dated 5th of December, 2024, the initiative is targeted at civil servants in Grade Levels 01 to 14.

According to the directive, the subsidized rice will be sold at a rate of ₦40,000 per bag, with sales scheduled to commence tomorrow at the Office of the Head of Service (OHOS) as per the timetable released, where interested civil servants are required to bring the following documents for verification:
ATM Card
Staff ID Card or Confirmation Letter
Last Promotion Letter

This intervention demonstrates Governor AbdulRazaq’s commitment to the welfare of state workers, ensuring they have access to essential commodities at affordable prices during these challenging times.
