INEC meets NYSC, expresses readiness for 2023 elections
Prof. Mahmud Yakubu, the Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Friday, visited the National Youth Service Corp in preparation for the 2023 general elections.
The Informant247 gathered that the INEC Chairman was accompanied by senior members of the commission, National Commissioners and Directors.
According to Yakubu, Nigeria cannot conduct any successful election without the active participation of corp members as ad-hoc staff.
The NYSC acting Director-General, Christy Uba, demanded the review of the allowances of corp members in view of the prevailing economic situation in the country.
