Inauguration List: Stakeholders praise Tinubu for youths, women inclusion
The stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress APC across Nigeria have expressed their satisfaction with the list of nominees presented by the Nigeria’s president elect Senator Bola Tinubu as inauguration committee members.
Some popular platforms in the party including Emerging Progressives Stakeholders (EPS), The Progressive Forum (TPF) and the Northern Progressives Agenda (NPA) have commended the president elect for producing what they referred to as a “hopeful list” which is a symbol of a rebirth for the youth community and active involvement of youth in governance.
This was revealed in a statement released by the Deputy Director, Youth Mobilization (North Central) of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Mohammed Funsho Abdullahi on Thursday April 20, 2023.
Earlier, The Progressive Forum (TPF) issued a statement, hailing the former Governor of Lagos State for preparing the citizens’ minds ahead of a youth oriented governance.
The forum praised the national leader of the party for the inclusion of 10 productive youth in a list of 14 members.
The names of some of the prominent and dedicated youth who made the list were given as: Donald Wokoma (Protocol and Invitations); Hon. Stella Okotete (Planning and Monitoring); Makinde Araoye (Venue and Swearing in); Hajiya Hadiza Mohammed Kabir (Transport and Logistics); Abuh Andrew Abuh (Accommodation); Dr. Betta Edu (Medical); Samira Saddik (Children’s Day Celebration) and Barr. Zainab Buba Marwa (Pre-Inauguration Dinner/Gala Night).
The forum also okayed the list for ensuring ethnic, religious, age balancing. The list did justice to southerners, northerners, Muslims, Christians, men, women, old and young people.
