In-form Rashford rescues Man Utd from Wolves

It was another fitting moment for Marcus Rashford on Saturday as he came off the bench to score the winner against Wolves.

Earlier dropped from the first eleven due to what Erik Ten Hag described as ‘Internal disciplinary ‘, Rashford netted the winner in 76th minutes to send his team into the top four.

Both teams had gone into the break without goals with the major moments being Alejandro Garnacho wasting a golden chance and David De Gea keeping out Ruben Neves’ stunning free-kick.

That Rashford replaced Garnacho in the second half, United continued their push for goals and it will soon pay off with the England international swapping a pass with Fernandez in the box and eventually smashing home the decider-scoring his 11th goal of the season.

No thanks to VAR denying Rashford a brace as he found one of his efforts wanting of a foul soon after the first goal.

United, who are now sitting fourth on the Table with 32 points have now lost just one of their last 15 games since a 6-3 derby defeat to Manchester City in October.
