A woman has reportedly declared her intention to end her marriage after he husband dropped out of school to fund and sponsor her education to PhD level.
The married woman has reportedly intended to divorce her man on the ground that her husband is lower in education level, compared to her.
She was reported to have said she cannot allow herself to be controlled by someone who is up to her standard in terms of education.
This was revealed by a Twitter user identified as @Abdullahiabba_ while narrating the experience of his cousin on the social media platform.
Abdullahi narrated that the marriage of his cousin is collapsing soon over his low standard of education compared to that of his lover (a PhD holder) whose education he funded.
Abdullahi said: “My Cousin Sameer had to drop out of school after marriage just to support his wife education due to her parents were not strong enough for that just for her to attain Phd and seek for divorce from him telling him she can’t be controlled by a man who’s not educated like him.
She can’t be controlled by a man who’s not up to her standards in terms of Education.”
