Ilorin South, West LGs worst-hit by COVID-19 in Kwara

The Kwara State Government has released the list of hotspots with the highest numbers of confirmed COVID-19 case’s in the state.

The State Ministry of Health released the statistics while providing updates on the state’s COVID-19 cases.

As of Tuesday, July 21, the data released revealed Ilorin South Local Government Area as heading the list with 282 cases, followed closely by Ilorin West Local Government with 280 cases, and Ilorin East rounds the top three with 76 cases.

Ifelodun with 11 confirmed cases, Asa – 9, Offa – 8, Edu – 4, Oke ero -2.

Meanwhile, the state recorded a total of 87 new confirmed cases on Sunday. However, 244 patients have been discharged so far.
