Ilorin East constituents benefit as Saliu Mustapha begins medical outreach in Kwara central

  • Traditional ruler, beneficiaries hail Turaki for providing vital health services

Senator Saliu Mustapha, the lawmaker representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly, has officially launched a four-day medical outreach program aimed at serving rural communities within the Kwara Central Senatorial District.

The initiative commenced today at the Oke Oyi main market in the Ilorin East Local Government Area, providing a variety of healthcare services, including treatments for malaria, typhoid, hypertension, diabetes, arthritis, gastroenteritis, peptic ulcers, asthma, diarrhea, and more.

Senator Mustapha, represented by his legislative aide, Abdulkadir Tunde, emphasized that the outreach seeks to enhance healthcare accessibility for residents of Kwara Central.

He explained that the program is organized in collaboration with the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital in Budo Egba.

The outreach will take place at strategically chosen locations across the four local governments that comprise Kwara Central. Senator Mustapha encouraged constituents to fully utilize the healthcare services available during this initiative.

The Baale of Oke Oyi, Alhaji Muhammad Soliu Abdulkadir, praised the senator for prioritizing the health and well-being of his constituents, praying for divine guidance and protection as he continues to serve the people of Kwara Central.

A beneficiary of the program, Alhaja Mariam Abdullah, expressed her appreciation to the senator for this initiative, noting that it would significantly help address the medical challenges faced by the community.
