Ilorin Central: Sai Kayi accepts outcome of APC primaries result, declares support for Oba Magaji
Sulaiman Abubakar Sai Kayi, one of the aspirants for the ticket of Magaji Ngeri Constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has welcomed the outcome of the election and declare support for the victor of the election — Oba Abdulqadir Magaji.
The Kwara State Chapter of the party on Saturday, January 21, 2023 conducted a fresh primary election to select a replacement for the late Hon. Magaji Olawoyin.

The Informant247 also recalls that the Electoral Act spells out that there should be a replacement of candidates in the case of the death of candidates within 14 days.
Sulaiman Abubakar popularly addressed as Sai Kayi referred to the primary election as a family affair.
The former Special Assistant on Political Affairs (Kwara Central) to the Governor of the state, AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq took to social media to announce his acceptance of the primary election.
“It’s our party affair and I’m satisfied with the process .I remain Loyal to APC and Governor AA (AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq) is our Leader. One person must win in any contest. Barr Oba Magaji is my brother and I stand with him.” He stated.
The Informant247 also recalls that Oba Abdulqadir Magaji gathered 17 votes and 25 votes by delegates to emerge the winner of the ticket of the party in the primaries which took place at Art and Culture Centre, Ilorin, Saturday.
