I’ll win APC presidential ticket – Governor Fayemi

Kayode Fayemi, a presidential aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, yesterday expressed confidence in himself that he would emerge the flagbearer of the party ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

The Chairman of the Nigeria’s Governors’ Forum made this revelation while addressing newsmen shortly after meeting with delegates of the party in Maiduguri, Borno state’s capital.

While reacting to the agitation of some APC leaders to make the south beneficiary of the presidency, the governor said competence should be the yardstick to determine who would be the flagbearer of the party.
