Iheanacho, Ndidi sink to relegation with Liecester as Iwobi survives drop
The duo of Nigerian Wilfred Ndidi and kelechi Iheanacho have been relegated with their English side, Leicester City.
The 2016 champions went down despite beating West Ham 2-1 in the last league game on Sunday.
Ironically, the win could not save Leicester with Iwobi’s Everton edging Bournemouth 1-0 to uphold their own status in the English top flight.
Leicester City finished the season with 34points While Everton finished with 36points.
Liecester joined Leeds United and Southampton in the drop to English championship while Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton Town secure promotion back to the elite league.
