Igbomina Radio begins test transmission

The Igbomina community radio (Channel 90.9FM) has begun test transmission.

The radio station -located at Oke Iroko, Pamo in Isin local government of Kwara state- hits the airwaves today and it’s expected to operate from 9:00am till 12:00noon after which there would be a break in transmission.

As contained in a press release signed by the National Publicity Secetary of Omoibile Igbomina, Comr. Oni Martins, he stressed that the establishment of the radio station was a dream fulfilled.

Before Igbomina 90.9FM came on stream, listeners in Kwara State tuned to Royal FM – 95.1, Albarka FM – 89.9, Midland FM – 99.0, Raypower FM– 106.5, Unilorin FM – 89.3, and the recent groundbreaking Sobi FM,– 101.9 all located in Ilorin

Okin FM – 105.7, and Harmony FM FRCN (Radio Nigeria)– 103.5 both located in Offa and Idofian respectively.
