IBB is Alive, Hale and Healthy – Media Aide
Following information that has permeated the breadth and length of the country that Former Nigeria’s Military President has passed out in the early hours of Sunday, 15th December, 2019, The Public Relations aide to the Ex Head of State who had been rumoured dead several times in the past, Earl Yemi Saka debunked the rumour, stating that General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida is still is alive, hale and healthy.
The statement reads: “My attention has been drawn to a misinformation in public domain, just as I have been inundated with calls about the purported demise of General General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida(Rtd).
“The report is false as General Babangida(Rtd) is alive, hale and hearty.
“The public is hereby advised to disregard such report.
“Thank you and God Bless you all,” he added.
The septuagenarian ruled the country between 1985-1993 and he was popular for the introduction of the Structural Adjustment Project (SAP) during his tenure.
