Ibadan court remands man over alleged killing of 20-year-old
An Ibadan Magistrates’ Court on Thursday directed that a 31 year old Nate Kasa, be remanded in a correctional facility over alleged murder of a man, Danmagaji Sanjo, 20.
Kasa, whose address has not been provided, has been charged with murder.
Mrs S. A. Adesina, the Magistrate, has rejected to take the plea of the suspected murderer for want of jurisdiction.
She has adjourned the matter until Dec. 21 for mention.
Insp. Gbemisola Adedeji, the Prosecutor, informed the court that the suspected murderer allegedly carried out the offence on September, 30, about 10.00 p.m, at Pondoro village in Ijio area, Saki.
The prosecutor made an allegation that the suspect unlawfully gunned down one Sanjo.
She revealed that the offence was in contravention of Section 319 of the Criminal laws of Oyo State, 2000.
