Muhammadu Buhari, the president of Nigeria, has disclosed that he lost two of his kids to sickle cell disease.
On Friday night in the State House Banquet Hall, Buhari celebrated his 80th birthday with a special supper hosted by his family and close friends. A documentary was shown to commemorate the occasion.
Speaking about his personal life, the President disclosed that two of the kids he had with his late wife Safinatu died of sickle cell anemia.
