I didn’t think you’ll remember – Basketmouth thanks Wizkid for sending him early birthday gift
The popular Nigerian comedian and actor, Bright Okpocha professionally known as Basketmouth, has revealed that the popular Nigerian music star, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun professionally known as Wizkid sent him a gift ahead of his birthday this month.
The 43-year-old comedian, who would be adding another year and turning 44 on September 14, has got a special birthday gift from the Nigerian Afrobeats singer.
Basketmouth posted on his Twitter on Saturday, stressing that the gesture of the Starboy came to him as a surprise as he did not believe he will remember the date not to talk of sending him something.
The comedian has posted a cover art of the singer’s cover of his newly released song off his next album, More Love Less Ego.
The comedian has also thanked the singer for not being ‘bad to me’ which is also the title of the new song.
He tweeted; ”I didn’t think you’ll remember my birthday (Sept 14th) talk less of giving me this gift.

Wizkid has also reacted to the tweet by reposting it on his Instagram story and with emojis.
