An ‘angry’ Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp has bemoaned some decisions of Andre Marriner after his team suffered a very avoidable defeat at St. Mary on Monday Night.
Liverpool were dealt a great blow to their title defense after they bowed to an early and wonderful Danny Ings first half strike.
The German tactician was left livid after the match. He said, “What Andre Marriner did with Sadio Mane today, I’m not sure if that’s OK to be honest.
“I’ve heard that Manchester United had more penalties in two years than (we) had in five and a half years. I have no idea if that’s my fault and I don’t know how that can happen but that’s no excuse for the performance.”
Liverpool is still topping the log on goal difference, locked on the same points, 33, with arch rival, Manchester United.
