Hon Teslim renovates Dr. Bukola Saraki Junior Secondary school
A philanthropist, Hon Teslim Olawale Yusuf in his charitable gesture has refurbished Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki Junior Secondary school, Amule Iya Balogun, Ilorin.
The astute business man on Saturday, 29th February commisioned a renovated block of two classrooms and office of the Vice Principal of the college.
In his opening remark, Alhaji Amosa Yerefu extolled Mr. Teslim, saying such malevolent feat by non political office holder is uncommon.
He further prayed for the progress and success of the benefactor in all his endeavours.
Speaking afterwards, the Secretary, Ilorin East Education Authority, Mallam Hassan Ayo also lauded the well intended project, exploring the opportunity to call on other individuals within and outside Ilorin East Local Government Area to follow the trajectory set by Hon. Teslim Yusuf.
Taking his turn, a member of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon Saheed Popoola noted that such humanitarian initiative deserves encouragement, stressing that education is the only antidote to insecurity currently rocking the national and it should made free and accessible to all and sundry.
The event was studded with creme de la creme such as: Hon Saheed Popoola; Hon Oladimeji Jimoh, Alhaji Yusuf Obalowu; Alhaji Oba Baraje; Latif Dangote.
Others are: Segilola Alaya Balogun; Ayooku Awodi; Atolagbe Balogun; Alhaji abdulgani Apara; Mallam Ibrahim Mukhtar and the school principal, Hajia Muibat Cook.
