The Kwara State Government has appointed Mr Yomi Adeboye as the acting General Manager of The Herald Newspaper.
The State Commissoners for Information, Murtala Olanrewaju, who announced this in Ilorin on Saturday, said the appointment took immediate effect.
“This is in keeping with the global best practice in the media industry where the most senior editorial staff — in most cases the Daily Editor — takes charge in the event of vacancy at the management level until a substantive head is appointed,” Murtala said.
