He’ll burn in hell — Singer Charly Boy reacts to Simon Ekpa’s arrest
The Nigerian singer, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, professionally known as Charly Boy has commented on the arrest of Simon Ekpa, a self acclaimed loyalist of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
The Informant247 earlier reported that Simon Ekpa, was arrested in Finland.
This was confirmed by a senior official in a security agency in Nigeria on Thursday, February 23, 2023.
HS which is a newspaper organization operating in Finland confirmed the development, affirming that Ekpa was arrested by police in his house situated at Lahti, Finland.
Report has it that Ekpa has been programmed to grant an interview before his arrest was effected by the police.
The arrested self acclaimed disciple of the IPOB leader recently announced that the forthcoming general elections will not hold in the south-east part of Nigeria.
While reacting to the arrest, the singer took to the micro blogging platform, Twitter to make fun of the separatist, declaring that he will burn in hell.
He wrote: “Can someone confirm for me that dis nwabanshi of a man has been finally arrested? The saboteur in Igboland causing mayhem and sponsoring terrorists.
“For all the youths you have led to their untimely death, may [you] burn in Hell.”
