Headteacher dies, two others injured in Kwara autocrash
A devastating accident involving three staff members of Jolasun LGEA Primary School in Ilorin East Local Government has claimed the life of the head teacher, Gidado Kafayat, who died instantly while returning home from school after the closing hour.
According to reports, two other staff members, Hassan Moshood and Akanbi Suleiman, also sustained varying degrees of injuries and are currently receiving treatment at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital.
It was gathered that the accident which occured at Oke-Oyu Alalubosa involved a trailer and a tricycle of where the victims were.
However, the Chairman of Ilorin East Local Government, Mallam Garba Olayinka Lukman Agbelere, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Gidado Kafayat while offering his support to them during this difficult time. He prayed that they find the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
The Chairman also wished the survivors currently at the hospital a speedy recovery.
