The Haruna Likpata Foundation has rolled out Ramadan packages to no fewer than 350 households in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Likpata was the Peoples Democratic Party’s House of Assembly Candidate for Edu local government area of Kwara State in the 2019 general elections.
Speaking on the beneficiaries’ selection process, he said, “Before and after the last election exercise, I have consistently identified with my people across party divides. As a proud son of the soil, the last election has even made me more dedicated to helping the needy in my local government and indeed the entirety of the Kwara North Senatorial district in my own little way.
“The afflictions our people are facing don’t give a damn about religious or political differences and that’s why I have never allowed any artificial differences guide me in the selection of beneficiaries for my various interventions under the coordination of my NGO.
“The distribution of these items are being strictly monitored by the foundation’s ward Coordinators and this is geared towards ensuring that the materials get to targeted individuals.”
