Hajj 2025: Max Airline secured for Kwara pilgrims’ Airlift
The Executive Secretary of the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abdulkadri Abdulsalam, has confirmed that Max Airline will facilitate the airlift of pilgrims from Kwara State for the upcoming 2025 Hajj in Saudi Arabia.
This announcement was made during a courtesy visit to the airline, highlighting the Board’s commitment to preparing for the pilgrimage.
Alhaji Abdulsalam stressed the importance of collaborative efforts among all stakeholders and relevant government agencies to ensure smooth Hajj operations. He noted that the visit aimed to familiarize the Board’s staff with the new management at the airport, thus ensuring a seamless experience for all involved.
Expressing confidence in the Board’s established track record, Alhaji Abdulkadri voiced optimism for the success of the upcoming pilgrimage.
Chairman of the Board, Prof. Mahmoud Jimba, addressed several urgent matters during the visit. He emphasized the need for timely processing of the airport permit system to facilitate proper identification for Board staff and other personnel during Hajj operations.
Additional concerns discussed included the necessity for reflective jackets for staff and the provision of a dedicated vehicle to transport pilgrims. Prof. Jimba concluded by advocating for enhanced cooperation between the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and the Board to ensure a successful and efficient Hajj experience.
