Gunmen kidnap father, son in Kwara
Suspcted kidnappers on Thursday, abducted a father and his son in Isanlu-Isin town, Isin Local Government of Kwara State.
The Informant247 gathered that the two victims, identified as Femi Ajayi of Baptist Grammar School, Isanlu-Isin, and his father, were reportedly abducted at about 7 pm on Thursday.
It was also learned that the kidnappers allegedly damaged their vehicle and took away the two victims to an unknown destination.
The Kwara State Public Relations Officer, Ajayi Okasanmi, confirmed the incident.
He said “the police commissioner, Ebun Oluwarotimi Adelesi, has dispatched teams of policemen supported by hunters and vigilante to the town for possible search and rescue of the abductees, please.”
It could be recalled that the police commissioner, at the maiden press briefing on assumption of duty in the state, declared that there will be no breathing space for criminals and cultists in the state anymore.
