Group Debunks Endorsement Rumor of Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN’s Presidential Candidacy
The Arewa Young Lawyers’ Forum has debunked the endorsement rumor of Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN’s presidential candidacy.
This was contained in a statement signed by S. T. Yahaya Esq, Secretary Arewa-YLF, on July 19, 2024.
The forum maintained that it never had any meeting/consultation whatsoever where the endorsement of any presidential candidacy was declared.
This statement reads: “Our attentions have been drawn to a purported endorsement of presidential candidacy of Mr Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN by Arewa Young Lawyers’ Forum by the Chairman of the forum.
“We wish to state categorically that the forum has no meeting/consultation whatsoever where endorsement of any presidential candidate is decided. Thus the endorsement is fake and it’s hereby debunked in it’s entirety.
We wish to state further that our members are free to elect the leaders of their choices without compulsion or imposition from anybody within and outside the forum.
