Group condoles AbdulRazaq family over patriarch’s death
A Kwara-based group, Voice of Kwara Progressives, VKP has condoled with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq over the death of the Patriarch of the AbdulRazaq family, Abdulganiyu Folorunsho Abdulrazaq.
The group in a statement jointly signed by its Chairman, Alhaji Femi Yusuf and Public Relations Officer, Comrade Kolo Jerry, during the weekend, described AGF’s death as an irreplaceable loss not only to the Ilorin Emirate but also to Nigeria and world at large.
According to the group, the former Chairman of the Body of Benchers was a Legend who meant different thing to different people around him.
The statement read, “To the family, the Patriarch was a father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and breadwinner. While to some, AGF was a teacher, scholar, mentor, advisor, counselor and confidant. To Many, AGF was an Icon, Patriot, Legend, Commissioner, Minister, Ambassador, Politician, legal luminary, community leader, developmental advocate, and a Statesman.
“We at the VKP, celebrate the great virtues of the late patriarch and rejoice over his many good deeds to humanity that we are confident, will remain indelible and serve generational compass and navigator to the path of peace, stability as well as growth and development.”
The statement further commiserated with the Emir of Ilorin, Kwara Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Dr Alimi Abdulrazaq, the family, friends and associates of the late statesman.
Meanwhile, the group also expressed grief over the passage of Mr Femi Ogunsola, a former FCC commissioner.
It prays God to comfort the family of the deceased and grant them fortitude to bear the loss.
