Group commends Gov AbdulRazaq, acting rector for reinstating dismissed Kwara poly staff

A civic group, the Kwara State Movement for Development, has lauded the leadership of AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the management of Kwara State Polytechnic for the recent reinstatement of staff previously dismissed from the institution.

In a statement issued by its chairman, Muhammed Olatunji, the group expressed profound appreciation to the state government, the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, and the Acting Rector of the polytechnic for what it described as a timely and just intervention.

The group noted that the affected workers were “illegally dismissed” under the former administration of the institution but have now been re-engaged following a review by the current polytechnic authority.

“We sincerely appreciate the prompt response that has saved our situation,” the statement read, emphasizing that the decision has restored hope and stability to the affected staff and their families.

The group also offered prayers for the continued success of the state leadership and the institution’s management, expressing optimism for sustained progress in the education sector.

The statement concluded with messages of solidarity, wishing continued growth and development for both Kwara State and the polytechnic.
