Gov. Wike felicitates Govs Makinde, Mohammed, Sanwo-Olu

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has rejoiced with Governors Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State on their success at the polls.

This was revealed in a statement released by his Special Assistant on Media, Kelvin Ebiri.

The Governor rejoiced over the 3 Governors’ victories in the March 18 governorship election in their respective states.

“I’ am excited by the cheering news of the resounding re-election of governors Makinde, Mohammed and Sanwo-Olu.  I am pleased to express to Your Excellencies the most sincere fraternal congratulations”.

He also said that “the re-election of governors Makinde and Mohammed through free, fair, and credible elections in their respective States, is indeed a triumph for Nigeria’s democracy”.

He said he anticipates a consolidation of the relationship and friendship between the states and his own state, Rivers State.

He implored the governors to make use of their re-election to make life better for the people.
