Gov Tambuwal wins Sokoto South senate seat
The Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has won the Sokoto South Senatorial election with 4,976 votes.
Tambuwal polled 100,860 votes to defeat the incumbent senator and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ibrahim Danbaba Dambuwa who polled 95,884 votes.
Professor Abubakar Bagudo, the returning officer, declared Tambuwal winner on Sunday morning.
