Gov AbdulRazaq mourns as ex-chief pharmacist Alhaji Sa’adu Aluko passes on

AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Kwara State Governor, has mourned the passing of Alhaji Sa’adu Aluko, the former Chief Pharmacist of the Kwara State Ministry of Health.

Born in 1935 and educated at the famous Barewa College Zaria, Alhaji Aluko died on Sunday in Ilorin. He was among the first generation of pharmacists trained by the old Northern Nigerian government.

In a statement by Rafiu Ajakaye, the governor’s spokesperson, AbdulRazaq, while sending his condolences to the Ikokoro family of Ilorin on the death of their patriarch, said it has been a huge loss for the state and northern Nigeria, given the unique standing of his generation in the evolution of the country’s socioeconomic history.

The governor also sent his condolences to the Ikokoros, friends, members of the Ilorin Club, and his surviving associates, urging them to take solace in his fine legacy and service to the community and humanity while praying to Allāh to grant him al-jannah Firdaus and keep the family upon goodness.
