Gov. Abdulrazaq celebrates Eniola’s rise to second place in Badminton global rating

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq celebrates the superlative rise of Nigeria’s para-badminton sensation Eniola Bolaji Mariam to the second place in the world.

his was contained in a statement released by the Chief press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaiye on Sunday.

It would be recalled that Kwara-born athlete was recently ranked number two in the world by the global body of the game. In a twitter post on Sunday, Eniola dedicated the feat to Governor Abdulrazaq and Nigerians.

The Governor says Eniola’s rise is attributable to hard work, grit, consistency, and humility in victory.

Congratulating her coaches and supporters, Governor Abdulrazaq wishes Eniola greater wins at the upcoming Paris 2024 Paralympic Games and throughout her promising career.

Eniola is one of the athletes that will be flying Nigeria’s flag in the upcoming Paralympics game which is billed to held from 28 August to 8 September with around 4400 athletes competing in 22 sports.
