Gov. AbdulRazaq appoints board for Radio Kwara

Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara has appointed a seven-member board for the State Broadcasting Corporation, Radio Kwara, with a veteran journalist Mr Kayode Adeyipo as its chairman.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr Rafiu Ajakaye, on Thursday in Ilorin.

According to the statement, Adeyipo was Director, News and Current Affairs Department of the station.

It listed other members of the board as Mr Muhammad Jimoh, Hajia Aisha Muhammad, Dr Amina Ahmed, Mrs Mary Oyeleye, Hajia Bolajoko Bello and Mr Dele Aje.

The statement added that the governor had also appointed three Special Assistants on Poverty Alleviation.

It listed an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Mr Lukman Ahmed as SA Poverty Alleviation (Central); Ayobami Tabitha Olusona (South); and Hakeema Mora (North). (NAN)
