Good governance: Manko backs Gov AbdulRazaq, calls for unity
Alhaji Abdulkadir Attahiru Adamu Manko has reaffirmed his support for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, emphasizing the need for unity, equity, and fairness in Kwara State.
During a recent meeting with the Governor, who also serves as the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), Manko commended his leadership and ongoing efforts to improve governance across the state.
He stressed that good governance is a collective responsibility and urged all stakeholders to play their part in fostering progress.
“The need to support His Excellency to achieve even more has become necessary for the good of all,” Manko stated. “I am committed to working with him to ensure Kwara continues to grow.”
Manko, a respected businessman and philanthropist, is known for his humanitarian contributions through his HAM Foundation.
His initiatives span education, healthcare, agriculture, ICT, and water supply, with a focus on uplifting the less privileged.
As part of his commitment to community development, he has installed 165 boreholes across all wards in Kwara North Senatorial District.
His team is currently in Baruten Local Government Area to add 21 more boreholes, ensuring access to clean water for more residents.
Beyond philanthropy, Manko is also a key political figure. He was the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Senatorial Candidate in the 2023 elections, where his grassroots campaign earned him 15,000 votes. His political influence spans youths, women, and various communities across Kwara North.
He reaffirmed his dedication to promoting unity and fairness, calling on stakeholders to join hands in building a state where opportunities are accessible to all.
