Gobir sympathises with Kwara rainstorm, flood victims
A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress in Kwara State has sympathised with victims of Saturday’s rainstorm in Ilorin, the state capital.
This was contained in a statement issued by the media office of the chieftain.
According to the statement, Waziri observed that the victims of the Saturday night rainstorm have been “deprived of roofs over their heads and a place of succour for their families”, further praying that Almighty Allah provide their needs.
The statement added that Waziri promised to provide relief materials and come to the aid of the victims through his Foundation.
Meanwhile, he also sympathised with farmers who lost their farmlands to flood in Lafiagi and some other local government areas in the state.
