Following the nationwide mass protest by the organised labour comprising Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) conterpart, the operatives of the Department of State Services have occupied the Lagos State Assembly complex where the labour unions are currently protesting.
It was gathered that the operatives were sighted on the premises of the complex while the protesters converged at the entrance of the gate.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat, had earlier addressed members of the organised labour and called for calm.
The Informant247 had earlier reported that the angry protesters pulled down the gates of the National Assembly in Abuja to force entrance into the complex.
The protesters were also heard chanting “You must go” in the course of the procession.
