Fr. Mbaka replaced, transferred from Adoration Ministry to Monastery
Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, the controversial Enugu Priest, has been moved from the Adoration Ministry.
The Informant247 observes that the latest decision of the Church has already triggered protest from the followers of Mbaka.
The Informant247 also observes that the Adoration Ministry, which was close down some three (3) months ago, started operation yesterday, Sunday.
Fr. Mbaka has however been replaced by Rev. Fr. Anthony Amadi, a clergy of the Catholic Diocese of Enugu.
Fr. Amadi is to take responsibility of leadership of the Adoration Ministry.
It was gathered that Fr. Mbaka has been transferred to Monastery.
A source within the ministry and a top member of the ministry, while confirming the development to newsmen described the development as unfortunate.
He said, “all along, the Bishop has been trying to take over the Adoration Ministry. But I can assure you that no priest will succeed there. So long as Fr. Mbaka is not there, nobody will come there to worship.
“This will lead to anarchy. It’s unthinkable that this kind of harsh decision could be made. We the adorers will never accept any other priest.
“Fr. Mbaka suffered and built that place will sole effort. Now they have tactically hijacked the place through the backyard. Let’s see how they will succeed.”
