Flying Eagles hold recovery training ahead of semifinal clash against Niger in WAFU B Championship
The Flying Eagles of Nigeria had their recovery training session on Friday morning ahead of their semifinal tie against Niger Republic after 2-1 win against Cote’Divore.
According to Sharif Abdallah, the Media Officer of Flying Eagles, the morning training session lasted for an hour .

He stated that Coach Aliyu Zubairu took a few minutes to congratulate the boys for job well done before the session began and reminded them of the task ahead of Saturday’s clash with Niger Republic .
Sharif revealed that 19 players took part in the session with Sabi’u Ibrahim on the sidelines. The midfielder is nursing an ankle injury he sustained during the 2-1 victory against Cote’Divore on Thursday.
The Flying Eagles will square up against Niger Republic on Saturday for a place in the final as they aim for a berth in the AFCON U20 tournament.
Coach Aliyu Zubair has however promised an improved performance from the boys in the semifinal as they hope to retain the title they won in 2022 in Niger Republic.
