Flying Eagles arrive Abuja after clinching WAFU-B Trophy

The Nigeria Flying Eagles have returned back home after winning the WAFU-B Championship hosted by Niger Republic.

According to information obtained by Informant247, the team arrived the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport Abuja at 12:03 am on Sunday Morning.

The Coach Ladan Bosso-led side who had a delay of about 30 minutes had a stop over at Ivory Coast arrived the Country via Air Cote’d’Ivoire.

The Flying Eagles beat the defending African Champions Ghana 2-0, drew 2-2 with Burkina Faso, edged Cote’d Ivoire 2-1 after extra time in the semi finals before the convincing 3-1 win over Benin Republic in the final.

Ahead of the team is to prepare for the U-20 Nations Cup billed for Egypt where they will also hope to clinch the FIFA U-20 World Cup ticket of 2023.
