Fire breaks out in Matogun, Ogun State

There’s an ongoing massive fire outbreak which involved a truck in Matogun area of Ogun State.

The incident happened about 15 minutes ago.

Reports have it that the fire has affected some persons, though the number of casualties is yet to be ascertained.

Mr Oluwatosin Ariyanja, a resident, who informed newsmen about the inferno said the fire has degenerated and destroyed many buildings in the area.

He said the affected location was off Akute – Oke-aro Road, Onolambe Matogbun Road, Oluyole Bus stop, opposite Ike Anobi Mosque. Ogun state.

It was revealed that Ogun State Fire Service had issues while trying to reach the affected area but men of Federal Fire Service are on their way to the area.

As at the time of filing the report, there was confusion in the affected area, as residents were running for their lives.

The Coordinator, Lagos Territorial District, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Ibrahim Farinloye, when contacted, confirmed the development.
