Breaking:FG approves N2bn to build new homes for Mokwa flood victims

The Federal Government of Nigeria has approved N2billion to build new homes for those affected by flood disaster in Mokwa.

This was disclosed by Vice President Kashim Shettima on Wednesday during a visit to flood scene in Mokwa local government area of Niger State.

The construction of new houses for the flood victims is part of several other interventions of the Federal government to mitigate the effect of the flood which has claimed more than 200 lives and left thousands displaced.
