In a bid to ease the suffering of Nigerians, the federal government, on Sunday, announced the removal of the value-added tax (VAT) on diesel for the next six months.
According to a report, the waiver is part of the agreement reached by the federal government and leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) at the end of a four-hour meeting held at the State House.
