FBA Foundation launches in Nigeria, honours legacy of compassion and generosity
A new non-governmental organization, the Fatima Bolanle Abioye Foundation (FBA Foundation), has officially launched its activities in Nigeria.
The non-profit organisation is committed to transforming lives through educational empowerment and humanitarian aid, with a vision of creating a Nigeria where every youth has access to quality education and socioeconomic barriers no longer determine future potential.
Named after Alhaja Fatima Bolanle Abioye, a woman celebrated for her lifelong dedication to helping others despite limited resources, the Foundation aims to continue her legacy of compassion and generosity.
According to the Executive Founder, Ameen Abdulrazaq, the launch of the Foundation is a way of honouring his mother’s values and lifelong dream of serving humanity and supporting the less privileged.

“As a young boy who grew up in a religious and modest home, my mother always reminded us that the essence of truly living a valuable life is to live for others selflessly,” Ameen said.
“It was an easy decision to name the Foundation after my mother because it reflects her doctrine and the values she instilled in us. This Foundation is established to carry on her legacy of compassion and generosity,” he added.
Ameen revealed that the Foundation has partnered with a UK-based tech company, Topteam Technologies Ltd, to provide scholarships to indigenous students in Nigeria, starting with Kwara State.
The scholarships will cover over 65% of training costs for selected students, with full scholarships worth N10 million available for exceptional students who may not otherwise afford the training.
“In the new year, we plan to support exceptional students in Ilorin and surrounding areas by covering exam fees for WAEC and NECO. We will also extend our outreach to support the less privileged during Ramadan,” Ameen stated.

Speaking to our correspondent, the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, Alhaja Fatima Bolanle Abioye, expressed her joy at the launch of the Foundation.
“I am deeply grateful to see my dream of establishing an organisation dedicated to helping people come true. It is every parent’s wish to reap the fruits of their labour, and for my son to establish this Foundation in my name is a great blessing,” she said.
“Just like my dream, the Foundation is focused on supporting the needy, widows, and students struggling to pay their fees, while putting smiles on people’s faces,” she added.
Looking ahead, Alhaja Fatima expressed her hope that the FBA Foundation will become a household name in Nigeria and globally within five years.
The Foundation’s vision is to create a Nigeria where every youth has access to quality education and a fair opportunity to reach their full potential. Its mission includes providing educational opportunities, supporting vulnerable communities, and building sustainable pathways out of poverty through knowledge and skill development.
Applications for the scholarship program are open to all. Interested candidates are encouraged to visit www.topteamlimited.com/training to select a course and contact the Foundation at info@fbafound.org.
