The Technical Adviser of Kwara United, Coach Azeez Muhammad has reacted to the two match ultimatum given to his crew by the management of the club following their poor run of form in the current NPFL season.

The management had on Sunday after the team’s 0-3 loss to Enyimba issued the ultimatum to the coaching crew to change the fortunes of the club for good.

Kwara United has not won any of its four games in the current NPFL abridged-league format season; having lost two and drew two of their matches.

In an exclusive interview with our The Informant247, the former Katsina United Coach describe the ultimatum as ‘normal’ in football.

“It’s normal in football for the management to demand for result from the coach”

Speaking further, he noted that the major problem of the club is the conversion of their chances to goals even as he ruled out that the problem had nothing to do with the players that left the club earlier in the season.

“We have problem with finishing for anyone who watch our game- it’s has been like that from the beginning of the season though we lost some important players but that’s not withstanding we are still working to improve on that”

With just two points so far, the team currently occupies 9th on the log of ten teams tied group A.

The team, who have now conceded four goals and has scored none so far will face Akwa United at their adopted home ground of Lekan Salami Adamasingba Stadium in Ibadan on Wednesday.

They will later play away to both Plateau United in Jos, and Nasarawa United in Kaduna in that order.
