EXCLUSIVE: Esinrogunjo exited Gov AbdulRazaq’s Task Force group, others whisper displeasure with membership
Leader of the Altruism Team and member Kwara State Environmental Task Force Committee Musbaudeen Esinrogunjo reportedly exited the WhatsApp chats group of the Task Force in growing displeasure with the assignment.
The seven-member team include Ibrahim Akaje, Yinka Bello, Oloyin Lateef Adebayo and AbdulRasaq Jeddah. Others are Kayode Oyin-Zubair, Obasanjo Alashi and Musbau Esinrogunjo have recorded success in cleaning some areas in Ilorin metropolis, while also distributing waste bins to markets.
However, Eshinrogunjo, erstwhile Kwara Central senatorial aspirant is reportedly unhappy with the slow pace of proceedings in the last few days. This is not unconnected with growing pressure from areas like Okesuna earlier visited by the Governor that remain unattended to, while speed was used in clearing Agbaji area; the home of another strong politician.
According to inside sources, some of the task force members are displeased plans have stalled to clear other areas earlier penned for cleaning. They felt the assignment is getting unnecessarily delayed for unknown reasons.
Also, those members rue the pressure the assignment accord them from the public. Another source said, “It is a horrible experience cleaning the dumpsites. Making this sacrifice without appreciation is worse”, he confided.
Esinrogunjo who left the Task Force Chats group since three days ago responded when contacted, that, he exited several political social media groups for personal reasons.
“I am not particular with the Task Force team. There were several ones I left on that day. I just decided to concentrate on some other things”, he said.
There are growing discontent within the Governor’s inner group as noticed in the past few weeks.
