Ex-gubernatorial aspirants, Yaman, Audu attacked in Lafiagi

Kwara State All Progressive Congress ex-gubernatorial aspirants in the 2019 general elections, Alh. S.Y Abdullahi and Alh. Tajudeen Abdulkadir Audu alongside other APC stakeholders, including Alh. M. T. Mamman and Engr. Umaru Shaaba were allegedly attacked during the party membership registration/revalidation exercise at Lafiagi.
The duo APC chieftains, Abdullahi and Abdulkadir were both from Kwara North senatorial district.
According to multiple sources, a group of thugs allegedly loyal to the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq were seen to have disrupted the ongoing peaceful event.
Meanwhile, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor has debunked the rumour currently going round in the social media, saying it’s false, political and another ploy to sow seed of distrust among members of the party.
Ajakaye who claimed to have been at the residential home of the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Danladi in Ilorin said in particular that none of the governor’s aid were present at Lafiagi as purportedly maneuvered.
He shared a video of himself with the chairman of the TESCOM Bello Abubakar Taoheed, who allegedly led the attack and SSA Job Creation to the Governor Bar Aliyu Al-Hassan with THE INFORMANT247 in Ilorin, the state capital.
