EPL: Lukaku Nears Chelsea return
Chelsea forward, Romelu Lukaku has handed the club a fine boost in their quest to winning the Premier League after returning to training on Monday.
Lukaku earlier this season in a Champions League fixture against Malmo FF got his ankle injured after a terrible tackle in the penalty area, though the penalty wasn’t awarded but was strong enough to sidelined him for weeks now.
The Belgian striker has given Chelsea supporters a ray of hope as he took to his social media pages posting : ‘Running today let’s see how that goes.’ Chelsea have a very keenly contested fixtures in the remaining part of November as one of the major opponents is Lukaku’s former employer, Manchester United as he will naturally keep an eye on the fixture list, especially that of Manchester United.
The club’s most expensive player will be facing United for the first time since he was sold to Italian giants, Inter Milan.
United will visit Chelsea in a late November clash for a Premier League rumble and hopefully, Lukaku will be fully fit to face the reds.
Chelsea will battle Burnley and Leicester City in the league and as well struggle for top spot in their group in the Champions League against the boys from Turin, Juventus, on the 23th of November. Chelsea currently sit top of the Premier League table, three points clear of second and third place Liverpool and Manchester City respectively.
As Chelsea try to consolidate on their achievement so far in the league, focus will not be lost as they still have conceded the least amount of goals having the best defensive record so far this season.
