En-Nesyri’s goal against Portugal surpasses Ronaldo’s record
Morocco’s quarter-final hero Youssef En-Nesyri’s goal has now been measured to an incredible height of 9ft1- surpassing Ronaldo’s famous header in Juventus.
The Morocco forward – who is the same height as Cristiano Ronaldo at 6ft2 – rose highest above Diogo Costa and Ruben Dias to head in Yahia Attiyat-Allah’s cross to score what would eventually be the ultimate.
His jump has now been confirmed to be eight inches higher than that of Ronaldo’s header while playing for Juventus against Sampdoria in 2019.
Ronaldo’s jump was measured at 8ft4 as he rose highest to give Juventus victory away at Sampdoria three years ago.
The victory saw Morroco becoming the first African country to reach the semi-final in the history of the world cup.
They will now face France in the semis on Wednesday.
